Course (Re)Design Grants

The grants awarded under this program fund work undertaken in the summer and following academic year by faculty of the College, School of Business, School of Divinity and the School of Law, directed toward designing, developing and launching a new or redesigned face to face course. The course design is accomplished with the assistance of the CAT staff and a cohort of other award recipients.

In accepting the grant, grantees agree to:

  • Collaborate with CAT staff and other faculty award recipients to create a plan of work. Planning meetings are required for all recipients and should be scheduled with the CAT upon notification of the award.
  • Attend 4-6 summer meetings with other grant recipients to share findings and explore pedagogical and scholarly challenges. A schedule of meetings will be arranged among participants in the summer and potentially fall.
  • Implement their enhancement in a course to be taught during the 2019-2020 academic year.

Applications for the Summer of 2020 are due on Friday, February 14th, 2020.
