Learning From AI: A Small Teaching Experiment

When Notre Dame computer scientists invited Jim to help develop an AI coach for educators trained on Small Teaching, he was skeptical. But he also saw it as an opportunity to learn more about AI by playing the role of naive questioner with a group of experts. In this workshop, Jim introduced the prototype and reflected on what he learned from the collaboration. Participants gained insight into what they should and shuld not fear about AI in education and explored opportunities to replicate similar projects with students.
