The National Survey of Student Engagement (NSSE) is administered nationally by the Indiana University Center for Postsecondary Research and provides information about students’ participation in programs and activities that institutions provide for their learning and personal development. WFU was one of 473 US institutions administering the survey in 2023. To help us benchmark against peers, NSSE has also grouped us with 32 of the 473 institutions that are private, enroll between 2,000 and 10,000 students, and have a lower transfer rates. While these 32 peers were chosen by NSSE, some do overlap with the institutions Wake Forest has recognized as peers. Those 7 overlapping peers are indicated with an asterisk below.
